The Directed DB3 module simplifies your installation process with a single data-to-data harness that connects your Viper or other Directed system directly to the DB3. This means no more complicated hard wiring to multiple door locks, solenoid releases, and sensors, saving you significant installation time. Typically, the DB3 connects through just 2 to 6 hardwired data connections, and we also offer vehicle-specific T-Harnesses for even easier setup—just give us a call for details. Pre-programmed for your specific vehicle, the DB3 gives you complete control over locking and unlocking doors, starting the engine, arming and disarming the factory alarm, and any other computerized functions your vehicle supports.

Many vehicles today come equipped with remote-start readiness, making it easier than ever to enhance your driving. If your vehicle is one of these, you can simply use the Directed DB3 along with a T-Harness (if available) instead of needing a separate remote start system. To activate the remote start, just press the "Lock" button three times on your factory remote. For even greater convenience, consider adding a Viper SmartStart module, allowing you to control your vehicle remotely right from your smartphone.
